           Dragged by global cues the market has opened with severe cuts. The Nifty is down below 8100. The 50-share index is down 72.75 points or 0.9 percent at 8097.30 while the Sensex is down 246.12 points or 0.9 percent at 26389.63.
          The Indian rupee opened lower by 18 paise at 66.94 per dollar on Monday versus 66.76 Friday.
      Spot gold was nearly flat at USD 1,273.36 an ounce by 0105 GMT. Bullion touched a session best of USD 1,278.03, its highest since May 18.
       The Enforcement Directorate (ED) tweeted that it had "attached" properties worth Rs 14.11 billion (USD 210.78 million) in the case involving a loan from state-owned IDBI Bank to Kingfisher to buy properties abroad.
            IDBI Bank does not think restructuring of standard loans could be too negative for banks.
             VECV turned free cash flow positive with Rs 360 crore in FY16. VECV's EBITDA margins rose 80 basis points (bps) annually in FY16 but gross margins declined 100 bps.
            The contract has been awarded from Nepal Electricity Authority (a Government of Nepal Undertaking) vide letter of award for expansion of distribution network in the Western region of Nepal.
          The portfolio being acquired for USD 350 million is a mix of filed ANDAs pending approval and an approved ANDA, and comprised of complex generic products across diverse dosage forms.

सेंसेक्स 348 अंक और निफ्टी 116 अंक बढ़ा, निवेशकों ने कमाए 1.15 लाख करोड़

स्टॉक मार्केट में आज कारोबार के अंतिम घंटे में तेज खरीददारी देखने को मिली है। सेंसेक्स आज 348 अंक बढ़कर 25022 के स्तर पर बंद हुआ है। वहीं, निफ्टी 116 अंक बढ़कर 7671 के स्तर पर बंद हुआ है।

निवेशकों ने कमाए 1.15 लाख करोड़

मार्केट में तेजी की वजह से आज निवेशकों की रकम एक दिन में 1.15 लाख करोड़ रुपए बढ़ी है। बीएसई पर लिस्टेड सभी कंपनियों की कुल मार्केट कैप 8 अप्रैल को 93.80 लाख करोड़ रुपए थी। ये आज की तेजी के बाद बढ़कर 94.95 लाख करोड़ रुपए हो गई है। इस तरह एक दिन में निवेशकों की रकम 1.15 लाख करोड़ रुपए बढ़ गई है।

सरकारी बैंकों के शेयरों में रही तेजी

पीएसयू सेक्टर इंडेक्स में आज सबसे ज्यादा बढ़त देखने को मिली है। इंडेक्स करीब 3 फीसदी बढ़कर बंद हुआ है। बैंक ऑफ बड़ौदा, इलाहाबाद बैंक के शेयर में 4 फीसदी से ज्यादा की बढ़त देखने को मिली है। वहीं, ओबीसी में 3 फीसदी से ज्यादा की बढ़त है।

इंफ्रा सेक्टर इंडेक्स में 2.5 फीसदी की बढ़त देखने को मिली है। रिलायंस इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर में 6 फीसदी से ज्यादा की बढ़त दर्ज हुई है। वहीं, अडानी पोर्ट्स 4 फीसदी से से ज्यादा बढ़ा है।

आईटी सेक्टर इंडेक्स में आज 2 फीसदी से ज्यादा की बढ़त देखने को मिली है। टेक महिंद्रा, विप्रो करीब 3 फीसदी, टीसीएस 2.8 फीसदी और इंफोसिस 1.4 फीसदी बढ़ा है

BSE Sensex opens weak amid volatility; IT gains as rupee slips

The Sensex is down 51.11 points or 0.26 percent at 19691.36, and the Nifty down 20.20 points or 0.35 percent at 5820.35. About 396 shares have advanced, 639 shares declined, and 54 shares are unchanged.

The market opened marginally weak amid choppy trade Tuesday, continuing its consolidation for the fifth day ahead of outcome of Fed meeting and RBI monetary policy later this week.
The Sensex is down 34.66 points at 19707.81, and the Nifty is down 16.35 points at 5824.20.

Meanwhile, Indian rupee opened lower by 54 paise at 63.37 per dollar versus 62.83 on Monday. "The dollar has a strong support level near mid-61 levels and hence rupee is expected to continue in the range of 62-63/USD. The range for the day is seen between 62.20-62.80/USD,
