Sensex, Nifty open flat as assembly elections counting underway

• The market has opened lower as counting continues for Assembly elections in five states. 
• The Sensex is down 42.46 points or 0.2 percent at 25662.15, and the Nifty down 18.45 points or 0.2 points at 7851.70. About 311 shares have advanced, 169 shares declined, and 38 shares are unchanged.
• Lupin, Tata Motors, Dr Reddy's, NTPC and Sun Pharma are top gainers while ONGC, Asian Paints, Maruti, HDFC and SBI are losers in the Sensex.

सेंसेक्स 348 अंक और निफ्टी 116 अंक बढ़ा, निवेशकों ने कमाए 1.15 लाख करोड़

स्टॉक मार्केट में आज कारोबार के अंतिम घंटे में तेज खरीददारी देखने को मिली है। सेंसेक्स आज 348 अंक बढ़कर 25022 के स्तर पर बंद हुआ है। वहीं, निफ्टी 116 अंक बढ़कर 7671 के स्तर पर बंद हुआ है।

निवेशकों ने कमाए 1.15 लाख करोड़

मार्केट में तेजी की वजह से आज निवेशकों की रकम एक दिन में 1.15 लाख करोड़ रुपए बढ़ी है। बीएसई पर लिस्टेड सभी कंपनियों की कुल मार्केट कैप 8 अप्रैल को 93.80 लाख करोड़ रुपए थी। ये आज की तेजी के बाद बढ़कर 94.95 लाख करोड़ रुपए हो गई है। इस तरह एक दिन में निवेशकों की रकम 1.15 लाख करोड़ रुपए बढ़ गई है।

सरकारी बैंकों के शेयरों में रही तेजी

पीएसयू सेक्टर इंडेक्स में आज सबसे ज्यादा बढ़त देखने को मिली है। इंडेक्स करीब 3 फीसदी बढ़कर बंद हुआ है। बैंक ऑफ बड़ौदा, इलाहाबाद बैंक के शेयर में 4 फीसदी से ज्यादा की बढ़त देखने को मिली है। वहीं, ओबीसी में 3 फीसदी से ज्यादा की बढ़त है।

इंफ्रा सेक्टर इंडेक्स में 2.5 फीसदी की बढ़त देखने को मिली है। रिलायंस इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर में 6 फीसदी से ज्यादा की बढ़त दर्ज हुई है। वहीं, अडानी पोर्ट्स 4 फीसदी से से ज्यादा बढ़ा है।

आईटी सेक्टर इंडेक्स में आज 2 फीसदी से ज्यादा की बढ़त देखने को मिली है। टेक महिंद्रा, विप्रो करीब 3 फीसदी, टीसीएस 2.8 फीसदी और इंफोसिस 1.4 फीसदी बढ़ा है

Market Outlook:-

• The market maintained its strong uptrend in afternoon trade with the Sensex rising 430.53 points or 1.80 percent to 24392.74 and the Nifty up 135 points or 1.86 percent to 7411.80, tracking global rally.
• The broader markets also traded in line with benchmarks as the BSE Midcap and Smallcap surged 2 percent each. More than three shares advanced for every share declining on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
• Oil prices rose 5 percent today to scale the USD 30 mark breached last week, as cold US and European weather as well as firmer financial markets gave traders reason to cash in on record short positions.
• L&T Finance Holdings, the subsidiary of engineering & infrastructure major, has reported a 16.7 percent year-on-year growth in consolidated profit at Rs 212 crore aided by net interest income.
• Profit was also supported by operating performance that continued to remain steady with healthy margins, steady fee income and stable operating expenses, says the company, adding asset management business continued to contribute positively, which grew by 17 percent on yearly basis.
