================================================= The market has opened lower again following weak Asian cues. The Sensex fell 23.13 points to 25287.20 and the Nifty declined 5 points to 7696.70.
                    The Indian rupee has opened flat at 66.83 per dollar today against previous close of 66.84. 
                  Asian markets barring Shanghai were trading lower. Hang Seng, Nikkei, Straits Times and Taiwan fell 0.2-1 percent. Shanghai gained 0.7 percent.
                     Asian markets traded cautiously in the morning session on Wednesday as the slide in oil prices continued to weigh on investor sentiment. 
                 The Finance Ministry last week said the economy would grow in the vicinity of 7.5 percent this fiscal, down from the earlier projection of over 8 percent. In the first half of 2015-16, it expanded at 7.2 percent.
             Shares of Dr Reddy's Laboratories slipped 4 percent intraday, extending its losses for another day.
                  BHEL, ITC, HUL, Tata Steel, Sun Pharma, Asian Paints, Tata Motors and Cipla were early gainers while Dr Reddys Labs fell 3.5 percent. GAIL, Vedanta, Bharti Airtel, Hindalco and UltraTech Cement were under pressure.
              Oil prices remained low during US trading hours as a result of a global supply glut.

Intraday Market Tips With Live Update



Nifty is likely to open on a positive note as indicated by SGX Nifty that was trading at 7865 level, up 45 points at 7:40 AM.

              Last week’s key government movement came on the Goods & Services Tax (GST) side with Chief Economic Advisor submitting the report to the Finance Ministry.
          Asian stocks opened higher on Monday, after a strong US jobs report sent US equities soaring on Friday.
            Chinese markets traded higher in the morning session, ahead of a deluge of economic data due this week such as trade numbers, consumer and producer price indexes, industrial production and retail sales.
           Finance stocks weighed, with brokerages trading lower between 0.9 and 2 percent. Banking stocks were also in the red.
           The Nifty corrected sharply by about 2 percent for the week to close below the crucial 7,800 mark on heightened prospects of a U.S interest rate hike in the coming days. Sentiment was also hit after the rupee fell to its lowest level in more than two years as it headed towards 67 against the dollar. FIIs sold equities worth $382 million over the past five trading sessions while DIIs bought stocks worth $385 million.
            The Indian rupee has opened flat at 66.70 a dollar on Monday against Friday's closing value.
       Tata Steel, Sun Pharma, Hindalco Industries, Hero Motocorp, ICICI Bank, Bank of Baroda and Asian Paints gained 1-3 percent. ITC, NTPC, M&M, ONGC and Cairn India were under pressure.

  • The market has opened in deep red as the Sensex is down 125.99 points or 0.5 percent at 25760.63. The Nifty slips 46.95 points or 0.6 percent at 7817.20. About 227 shares have advanced, 399 shares declined, and 46 shares are unchanged.
  • GAIL, BHEL, Vedanta, Infosys and SBI are major losers in the Sensex.
  • Asian equities traded lower after Wall Street closed in the red as investors digested comments from the Fed and the European Central Bank (ECB).
  • Federal Reserve chairman Janet Yellen said in a testimony before Congress that economic data since October backs the central bank's expectations of an improved job market.
  • The Indian rupee opened lower by 30 paise at 66.95 per dollar against previous close of 66.65.
  • The European Central Bank eased policy further on Thursday to fight stubbornly low inflation but kept much of its powder dry, disappointing high market expectations for greater stimulus.
  • India is trying to persuade rich temples to deposit some of their gold hoards with banks to revive a plan to recycle tonnes of the precious metal and cut gold imports, sources said.

Intraday Tips With Live Stock Market Update



  • http://www.capitalheight.com/about.phpThe market has opened flat as the Sensex is down 5.40 points 26122.80. The Nifty is down 2.70 points at 7940.00. About 491 shares have advanced, 143 shares declined, and 77 shares are unchanged.
  • Asian shares held firm and U.S. stock futures edged higher in early trade on Friday as expectations of additional stimulus from the European Central Bank underpinned appetite for riskier assets, while the euro hovered near seven-month lows.
  • Indian shares edged up on Friday as hopes the government would look for a compromise with opposition leaders to pass a key reform on a goods and services tax (GST) lifted sentiment.
  • Gains were led by financial stocks with investors buying beaten-down bank stocks. Bank Nifty, a sub-index of the NSE, has lost about 0.37 percent this month.
  • ICICI Bank gained 2 percent, Axis Bank rose 1.83 percent and HDFC Bank added 0.62 percent.
  • The second quarter FY16 gross domestic product (GDP) is expected to come in at around 7.5 percent compared to around 7 percent on a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis.
  • The Indian rupee has opened marginally lower at 66.78 per dollar compared to 66.76 a dollar in previous trading session.
  • Back home, the Sensex ended up 169.57 points or 0.65% at 26,128.20, after hitting a high of 26,184.65 intraday. The Nifty closed at 7942.70, recording a gain of 58.90 points or 0.75%, after rising to 7959.30 around late afternoon.
  • Global cues were weak with Asian markets closing lower on some disappointing data from the region and on geopolitical concerns due to tensions between Russia and Turkey. European markets are weak as well, although losses are not much pronounced.
