Market Outlook:-
The Sensex is down 57.93 points or 0.2 percent at 23591.29 and the Nifty is down 39.30 points or 0.5 percent at 7152.45. About 211 shares have advanced, 286 shares declined, and 24 shares are unchanged.
      Bajaj Auto, Wipro and Reliance are top gainers while BHEL, Hindalco, L&T, Tata Steel and HDFC are losers in the Sensex. Jet Airways is up 3 percent.
          Shares of Gayatri Projects rallied 5 percent intraday after its subsidiary signed 8-year power purchase agreement with Telangana power distribution companies.
        Thermal Powertech Corporation India (TPCIL) has signed a long term power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Telengana power distribution companies," the Hyderabad-based infrastructure & construction company said in its filing.
          Economic Laws Practice Partner Rohit Jain said since the government is pushing domestic manufacturing, in the next Budget it would be a challenge to do away with exemptions.

The Indian Share Market continued to see marginal selling pressure, though it recouped losses from day's low post rate cut by RBI. Pharma, metals and telecom stocks remained under pressure while select technology, capital goods and banking & financials supported the market. The Sensex fell 25.93 points to 25590.91 and the Nifty dropped 11.45 points to 7784.25.
About 866 shares have advanced against 1306 shares declined on the BSE. The Reserve Bank of India surprised street by cutting repo rate by 50 basis points to 6.75 percent against forecast of 25 basis points. Repo rate slipped below 7 percent for first time Since March 2011. Andhra Bank is the first one which reacted by cutting its base rate by 25 basis points to 9.75 percent w.e.f. today post RBI's surprise repo rate cut.
The Indian Stock market recovered sharply with the Nifty hitting 7800-mark after the Reserve Bank of India surprisingly cut repo rate by 50 basis points. Equity benchmarks are still under pressure though showed smart recovery from days low. The Sensex declined 97.82 points to 25519.02 and the Nifty fell 36.70 points to 7759. About 801 shares have advanced, 1338 shares declined, and 98 shares are unchanged on the BSE.

The Intraday market continued to see selling pressure amid consolidation. The Sensex fell 31.86 points to 27799.68 and the Nifty declined 15.35 points to 8451.20, dragged by FMCG, HDFC twins, capital goods and select autos. However, technology and Pharma gained strength on further weakness in rupee. The broader markets recouped early losses, up marginally. About 1068 shares have advanced, 792 shares declined, and 68 shares are unchanged on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Cipla and Sun Pharma topped the buying list, up more than 2 percent followed by ICICI Bank, Lupin, Reliance Industries, Infosys, Wipro, Dr Reddy's Labs, Tata Motors, TCS and Vedanta with 0.2-1 percent upside. However, Bharti Airtel plunged nearly 3 percent. HDFC Bank, HDFC, ITC, Larsen & Toubro, Axis Bank, M&M, HUL, Hindalco and Coal India declined 0.5-1 percent. Bharti Airtel, Hindalco, M&M, Coal India and HDFC Bank are losers while Pharma stocks are still on buyers' radar.
Majesco, the insurance subsidiary of Mastek, has opened at Rs 316 against previous close of Rs 438.05 on the National Stock Exchange. The stock rallied 5 percent to Rs 331.80 compared to its opening price.
The Indian rupee has touched a fresh two-year low in early trade. It has opened lower by 10 paise at 65.40 per dollar on Wednesday against Monday's closing value of 65.32 a dollar. The currency market was shut on Tuesday.

The Equity market seems to be consolidating with major support from FMCG and Pharma stocks. The Sensex is up 119.55 points or 0.4 percent at 26806.06, and the Nifty up 24.95 points or 0.3 percent at 8072.25. About 1328 shares have advanced, 673 shares declined, and 155 shares are unchanged. Tata Steel, Infosys, HDFC, Cipla and Axis Bank are top gainers in the Sensex. Among the losers are Vedanta, NTPC, M&M, Tata Power and GAIL.
Cipla and HUL are up 3 percent while Tata Steel, Bharti Airtel and Dr Reddy's Labs are top gainers in the Sensex. Among the losers are Vedanta, BHEL, Tata Power, Tata Motors and Bajaj Auto. Crude oil futures prices rose 0.10 percent to Rs 3,853 per barrel today as speculators created fresh bets amid a firm trend in Asian markets.
The Stock market remained marginally higher amid consolidation. The Sensex climbed 77.22 points to 26763.73 and the Nifty rose 12.25 points to 8059.55 led by FMCG, technology, Pharma and select banking & financials. Cipla and Hindustan Unilever (HUL) topped the buying list on Sensex, up 3 percent each followed by Dr Reddy's Labs with 1.7 percent upside.
