Cipla: The pharma company will announce its Q2 numbers today. 

Biocon: Biocon and its partner Mylan Inc announced submission of Mylan's biologics licence application to USFDA for a proposed biosimilar to branded trastuzumab for treatment of certain breast and gastric cancers. 

Tata Communications: The company on Tuesday reported a dip of 64% in its consolidated net profit at Rs 40 crore for the September quarter, mainly due to impairment charges on its investment in South Africa-based firm Neotel. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 112.3 crore in the same period a year ago.

IndiGo: InterGlobe Aviation registered a 24% rise in net profit at Rs 139.9 crore in the quarter ended September 2016.It had reported a net profit of Rs 113.13 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Lupin: The pharma company will announce its Q2 numbers today.

Larsen & Toubro: Larsen & Toubro announced that it has forged a long-term technical licence agreement with Chiyoda Corporation for its flue gas desulphurisation (FGD) technology.

Va Tech Wabag: The company posted a net profit of Rs 28.4 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 as compared to Rs 24.12 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015.

Bosch: The company will announce its Q2 numbers today.

Repco Home Finance: The company earned a net profit of Rs 45.7 crore for the quarter ended September 2016 as against Rs 39 crore earned during the same period last year, registering a growth of 17%.

Nagarjuna Oil Refinery: The board of directors of the company considered and approved sale of 77.6 crore equity share of Rs 10 each held by the company in Nagarjuna Oil Corporation.

Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals: The company reported a net profit of Rs 415.9 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 as compared to net loss of Rs 913.4 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

PTC India Financial Services: PFS reported a decline of 59% in standalone net profit at Rs 84.9 crore for the July-September quarter of the fiscal. Company's profit in corresponding July-September quarter was at Rs 211.4 crore.

Adani Enterprises Ltd: Adani Enterprises will make unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), also known as drones, in joint venture with Israeli firm Elbit Systems.

The company has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 127 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 as compared to Rs 172 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015.  

Total income has decreased from Rs 1,199 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015 to Rs 966.8 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016.  

Stock Commentary:  

Bharat Forge Ltd is currently trading at Rs 854.9, down by Rs 3.35 or 0.39% from its previous closing of Rs 858.25 on the BSE.  

The scrip opened at Rs 869.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs 869.95 and Rs 842.2 respectively. So far 1399395 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs 19980.06 crore.  

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 979.35 on 10-Oct-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs 686.8 on 24-Jun-2016. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 893 and Rs 820.1 respectively.  

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.74 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 33.61 % and 19.64 % respectively.

The stock is currently trading below its 50 DMA.

Today's Intraday Stock Market Update



The market has opened lower Friday. The Sensex is down 59.70 points or 0.2 percent at 25730.52, and the Nifty is down 35.30 points or 0.4 percent at 7865.10. About 247 shares have advanced, 292 shares declined, and 46 shares are unchanged. For More Information Visit


    Tata Motors, Wipro, Bajaj Auto, Asian Paints and HUL are top gainers while Dr Reddy's Labs, Tata Steel, BHEL, NTPC and L&T are losers in the Sensex.
      The Indian rupee slipped in the early trade. It has opened lower by 16 paise at 66.78 per dollar against previous close of 66.62.
      Ashutosh Raina of HDFC Bank said, "The global risk-off coupled with weak IIP and CPI numbers are expected to weigh on Indian markets."      The dollar gained against the yen after Japan's Central Bank governor said there was more room to ease monetary policy if needed.        Yen fell to a two week low pressured by speculation that the Bank Of Japan could expand its monetary stimulus as soon as next month.

Today in Intraday Market the Sensex is up 110.10 points or 0.4 percent at 27416.93 and the Nifty gains 23.45 points or 0.3 percent at 8285.10. About 1313 shares have advanced, 808 shares declined, and 125 shares are unchanged. Bharti Airtel, Vedanta, Hindalco, Reliance and ONGC are top gainers while Dr Reddy's Labs, Sun Pharma, L&T, Maruti and GAIL.
Oil prices fell after data from an industry group showed a larger-than-expected build in US crude inventories last week, fanning worries over global oversupply, even as a slightly weaker dollar provided some support. IT services provider Mphasis' September quarter consolidated net profit grew by 18.4 percent sequentially to Rs 185 crore, boosted by operational numbers.
Bharti Airtel, Reliance, Axis Bank, Hero Motocorp and Vedanta are top gainers while Dr Reddy's Labs, Sun Pharma, GAIL, HDFC and M&M are among losers in the Sensex. Dr Reddy's Labs topped selling list on Sensex, down 2 percent followed by Sun Pharma, Lupin, HDFC, L&T, Maruti and BHEL with marginal losses. Reliance Industries, Bharti Airtel and Vedanta rallied 1-1.8 percent. Infosys, HDFC Bank (ahead of earnings), Axis Bank, TCS, ITC and ONGC gained 0.3-0.9 percent.
