The market has opened lower as the Sensex is down 77.87 points or 0.3 percent at 25601.06. The Nifty is down 21.90 points or 0.3 percent at 7833.15.

             Hindalco, Bharti, Tata Steel, M&M and Axis Bank are top gainers while ICICI Bank, ITC, GAIL, Maruti and Hero are losers in the Sensex.

               The Indian rupee has opened marginally lower at 66.72 a dollar compared to 66.61 a dollar in previous session.

           Asia stocks were mixed, after energy plays led to a decline in US equities overnight, and as investors likely took to the sidelines ahead of major central bank monetary policy decisions due later in the week.

               The Federal Reserve is expected to hold interest rates steady after a two-day meeting set to begin on Tuesday, but policymakers may be more upbeat on the economic outlook, leaving the path open for future rate hikes.

रेल मंत्री सुरेश प्रभु ने गुरुवार को रेल बजट पेश कर दिया। रेल मंत्री का फोकस रेलवे की सर्विसेस बढ़ाने पर रहा। उन्‍होंने यात्री किराए और माल भाड़े में कोई बढ़ोतरी नहीं की है। आईटी और इन्‍वेस्‍टमेंट पर रेल मंत्री ने अधिक जोर दिया है। आइए जानते हैं रेल बजट की 20 अहम बातें-

रेल बजट के 20 प्‍वाइंट

1. यात्री किराए और माल भाड़े में कोई बढ़ोतरी नहीं की है। प्‍लेटफार्म टिकट और कैंसिलेशन चार्ज में भी कोई बदलाव नहीं किया गया है।
2. चार तरह की नई ट्रेनें तेजस, उदय, अंत्‍योदय और हमसफर एक्‍सप्रेस का एलान।
3. 2020 तक ऑन डिमांड रेलवे रिजर्वेशन की सुविधा शुरू हो जाएगी।
4.  अगले दो साल में 400 स्‍टेशनों पर वाई-फाई सर्विसेज दी जाएंगी।
5.  2020 तक 95 फीसदी ट्रेनें राइट टाइम पर चलेंगी।
6.   50 करोड़ रुपए स्‍टार्टअप्‍स सपोर्ट फॉर इनोवेशन के लिए दिया जाएगा।
7. महिलाओं के लिए रिजर्वेशन में 33 फीसदी कोटा होगा। पत्रकार भी अब कंसेशन टिकट ऑनलाइन बुक करा  सकेंगे।
8. - विदेशियों के लिए अगले तीन महीने में कैशलेस टिकट सुविधा मिलेगी।
9.  बार कोड के साथ टिकट की सुविधा मिलेगी। 139 के जरिए कैंसल करा सकेंगे रेल टिकट।
10. सभी तत्‍काल  काउंटर्स पर लगेंगे सीसीटीवी कैमरे। देश के सभी स्‍टेशनों पर सीसीटीवी सर्विलांस लगाए जाएंगे। सभी ट्रेनों में जीपीएस सिस्‍टम लगाए जाएंगे।
11. पीपीपी मॉडल पर 10 लॉजिस्टिक पार्क बनाए बनाए जाएंगे। 1780 ऑटोमेटिक टिकट वेंडिंग मशीन लगाई जाएंगी।
12.   कुली को नया यूनिफार्म मिलेगा, जिसे सहायक का नाम दिया गया है। उन्‍हें इंश्‍योरेंस की सुविधा भी मिलेगी।
13. लोवर बर्थ का 50 फीसदी कोटा सीनियर सिटीजन के लिए होगा।
14.  इंश्‍योरेंस कंपनियों के साथ मिलकर ट्रैवल इंश्‍योरेंस की सुविधा मिलेगी।
15. बुजुर्गों और स्‍पेशियली एबल्‍ड के लिए सारथी फैसेलिटी शुरू की जाएगी। साथ ही ब्रेल इनएबल्‍ड वैगन तैयार किए जाएंगे।
16.  पैंसेजर SMS के जरिए कोचेज की सफाई करा सकेंगे।
17.  तीन नए डेडिकेटेड फ्रेट कॉरिडोर का प्रस्‍ताव। खड़गपुर-विजयवाड़ा, मुंबई-खड़गपुर और दिल्‍ली-चेन्‍नई फे्ट कॉरिडोर।
18. रेलवे में LIC अगले पांच साल के दौरान 1.5 लाख करोड़ रुपए का निवेश करेगी। फंड जुटाने के लिए ओवरसीज रुपए बांड जारी करेगा।
19. फाइनेंशियल ईयर 2016-17 के लिए भारतीय.. रेल का प्लान साइज 1,21,000 करोड़ रुपए तय किया गया है, जो 2015-16 की तुलना में 21,000 करोड़ रुपए ज्यादा है।
20.   फाइनेंशियल ईयर 2016-17 में ऑपरेटिंग रेश्यो 92 फीसदी रहने का अनुमान जताया है, जो पिछले वित्त वर्ष से 2 फीसदी ज्यादा है।

The Intraday market is completely flat after the initial euphoria on Infosys results. The Sensex is up 5.53 points at 27085.04 and the Nifty is up 4 points or 0.05 percent at 8193.70. About 1259 shares have advanced, 909 shares declined, and 90 shares are unchanged.
Vedanta, Hindalco, Tata Motors, Tata Steel and BHEL are top gainers while Infosys, Cipla, HDFC, Wipro and Lupin are major laggards in the Sensex. IT index is down 1 percent from previous close. Infosys touched record high at Rs 1219 intraday after September quarter results but soon cooled off.
The Intraday stock is down 3 percent. Infosys' Q2 profit increased 12 percent to Rs 3,398 crore from Rs 3030 crore on sequential basis. CFO Rajiv Bansal has resigned. Gold is near its highest in seven weeks, bolstered by expectations the Federal Reserve will not hike US interest rates soon.

The Indian share market continues to drag but recovers from early morning's sharp losses. The Sensex is down 82.45 points or 0.3 percent at 26136.46 and the Nifty slips 23.30 points or 0.3 percent at 7958.60. About 1176 shares have advanced, 837 shares declined, and 90 shares are unchanged. Tata Motors, Maruti, Axis Bank, L&T and SBI are top gainers while HDFC, Tata Steel, M&M, NTPC and Hindalco are among losers in the Sensex.

FMCG index is down 0.6 percent from previous close. Gold dipped slightly after a three-day rally, but the metal still held close its highest in nearly three weeks, as the Federal Reserve's move last week to leave US interest rates unchanged weighed on global equities. The broader markets outperformed benchmarks. The BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices declined marginally.

About 799 shares have advanced against 842 shares declined on the Bombay Stock Exchange. Shares of HDFC, Reliance Industries, ITC, ICICI Bank, M&M, Tata Steel and SBI dropped 1-2 percent. However, Tata Motors bucked the trend, up 0.6 percent after it delivered 1100 cars in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh on Ganesh Chaturthi this year.
