Rs. 65K cr wiped out from Sensex firms in 1st week of May

Amidst an apparently weakening post budget rally due to weak overseas cues and subdued corporate earnings for Q4 FY16, the Sensex firms have lost Rs. 65,448.20 crore to their market capitalization (Mcap) in the first week of May.
         The stock market barometer, BSE Sensex, declined 1.47% for the week ended May 6, 2016. It had risen 1.04% in April 2016. Currently, the total Mcap of Sensex heavyweights stands at Rs. 42,66,693.87 crore, which is 44.55% of total market cap of all BSE-listed firms (Rs. 95,75,595 crore).
       Firms like RIL, Infosys and TCS have seen their mcap eroding despite impressive Q4 numbers. Despite a record Q4 performance, the Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries saw its Mcap plummeting by Rs. 6,953.91 crore in first trading week of the current month. With the total mcap standing at Rs. 3,11,429.15 crore, RIL is the second largest firm on BSE in terms of Mcap.

           In May so far, total 23 Sensex firms saw seen their mcap nosediving. Among the losers, ICICI Bank, APSEZ and ONGC have seen their Mcap eroding by Rs. 10,720.55 crore, Rs. 9,003.22 crore and Rs. 8,213.27 crore respectively.

        Despite dominated by increasing volatility in the wake of poor overseas cues, Indian equity markets witnessed renewed buying by the mutual funds. The MFs pumped in Rs. 240.90 crore in equities as of May 4, as per the Sebi data. However, they off-load to the tune of Rs. 791 crore in debt segment. However, the foreign institutional investors were found booking profits as their net outflows stood at Rs. 773.62 crore in the first week of May.

Market News:-

• The market erased more than half of gains due to selling in oil, banks and select FMCG stocks. The Sensex rose 37.29 points to 25306.93 and the Nifty advanced 17.45 points to 7730.50.
• The broader markets also lost some shine, rising 0.3 percent each but the market breadth remained positive. About 1325 shares advanced against 750 declining shares on BSE.
• Shares of Adani Enterprises today surged nearly 8 percent after the company's USD 21.7 billion coal mine project in Australia won three mining leases. Adani's 21.7 billion dollars coal mine project in Australia yesterday won three mining leases but the Indian mining giant said a final decision on investment will be taken only after the resolution of "politically-motivated" legal challenges against its plans to build one of the world's largest coal mines. Queensland minister for Natural Resources and Mines Anthony Lynham approved the individual lease grant for 70441 Carmichael, 70505 Carmichael East and 70506 Carmichael North, which are estimated to contain 11 billion tonnes of thermal coal.
• Infibeam Incorporation shares started off day with gain of 5.8 percent on debut Monday. The stock listed at Rs 457 on National Stock Exchange against issue price of Rs 432.

सेंसेक्स 438 अंक बढ़कर 25338 पर और निफ्टी 138 अंक उछलकर 7735 पर बंद

मार्केट में दो दिन से जारी गिरावट थम गई है। बुधवार को मार्केट में हुई चौतरफा खरीददारी से बीएसई का 30 शेयरों वाला प्रमुख इंडेक्स सेंसेक्स 438 अंक बढ़कर 25 हजार 338 पर क्लोज हुआ है। एनएसई का 50 शेयरों वाला प्रमुख इंडेक्स निफ्टी 138 अंक बढ़कर 7 हजार 735 पर बंद हुआ है। आज के कारोबार में एनएसई पर मीडिया इंडेक्स को छोड़कर अन्य सभी सेक्टर इंडेक्स 4 फीसदी तक की तेजी के साथ बंद हुए है।

बैंकिंग, मेटल और रियल्टी में रही तेजी

एनएसई पर बैंकिंग, रियल्टी और मेटल इंडेक्स में जोरदार तेजी देखने को मिली है। बैंक निफ्टी 3 फीसदी बढ़कर 16,135 पर क्लोज हुआ है। वहीं, मेटल इंडेक्स 3.5 फीसदी बढ़कर 1927 पर बंद हुआ है। इसके अलावा पीएसयू और रियल्टी इंडेक्स 4 फीसदी के उछाल के साथ बंद हुआ है।

सन फार्मा ने नोवार्टिस के 14 बांन्ड्स को 1900 करोड़ में खरीदा

देश की सबसे बड़ी फार्मा कंपनी सन फार्मा ने नोवार्टिस के जापान में बिकने वाली 14 मशहूर दवा बांन्ड्स को खरीद लिया है। ये डील करीब 1900 करोड़ रुपए (29.3 करोड़ डॉलर) में हुई है। सन फार्मा की जापान में ये दूसरी डील है। इससे पहले कंपनी ने जापान की दाइची सांकयो से रेनबैक्सी को खरीदा था। इस खबर का पॉजिटिव असर दोनों कंपनियों के स्टॉक्स पर देखने को मिल रहा है। सन फार्मा का स्टॉक 1 फीसदी और नोवार्टिस के स्टॉक में 2 फीसदी की तेजी कायम है।

निफ्टी के 50 में से 44 स्टॉक्स में रही बढ़त

एनएसई के बेंचमार्क इंडेक्स निफ्टी में शामिल 50 में से 44 स्टॉक्स में खरीददारी का रुझान देखने को मिला है। आईसीआईसीआई बैंक , टाटा स्टील 6.5 फीसदी, ल्यूपिन 6 फीसदी, टाटा मोटर्स 5 फीसदी और अदानी पोर्ट्स 4 फीसदी की तेजी के साथ बंद हुए है। जबकि एमएंडएम, एचडीएफसी, भारती एयरटेल और मारुति में एक फीसदी तक की गिरावट की गिरावट देखने को मिली है।

माल्या के प्रस्ताव से बैंकिंग स्टॉक्स उछले, SBI 3% ऊपर

विजय माल्या सरकारी बैंकों से समझौते को तैयार हो गए हैं। इस खबर के बाद बैंकिंग स्टॉक्स में जोरदार तेजी देखने को मिल रही है। एनएसई का पीएसयू बैंकिंग इंडेक्स 3.5 फीसदी चढ़ गया है।इस तेजी में बैंक ऑफ बड़ौदा 4 फीसदी, एसबीआई 3.5 फीसदी और केनरा बैंक 3 फीसदी तक बढ़ गए है।

फेड के फैसले से पहले मार्केट में तेजी, सेंसेक्स 131 अंक बढ़कर बंद

अमेरिकी सेंट्रल बैंक फेडरल रिजर्व की बैठक के फैसल से पहले सेंसेक्स और निफ्टी बढ़कर बंद हुए है। बीएसई का 30 शेयरों वाला प्रमुख इंडेक्स सेंसेक्स 131 अंक बढ़कक 24682 के स्तर पर क्लोज हुआ है। वहीं, एनएसई का 50 शेयरों वाला प्रमुख इंडेक्स निफ्टी 38 अंक बढ़कर 7498 पर बंद हुआ है।

बैंकिंग और एफएमसीजी इंडेक्स में तेजी

एनएसई के प्रमुख इंडेक्स में बैंकिंग और एफएमसीजी में जोरदार उछाल देखने को मिला है। बैंक निफ्टी 0.88 फीसदी बढ़कर 15461 के स्तर क्लोज हुआ है। वहीं, एफएमसजी इंडेक्स 1.05 फीसदी बढ़कर 19336 के स्तर पर बंद हुआ है। हालांकि मुनाफावसूली के चलते रियल्टी इंडेक्स पर दबाव रहा है। रियल्टी इंडेक्स आधा फीसदी गिरकर 148 के स्तर पर बंद हुआ है

निफ्टी के 50 में से 27 स्टॉक्स में खरीददारी

एनएसई के बेंचमार्क इंडेक्स निफ्टी में शामिल 50 में से 27 स्टॉक्स में खरीददारी देखने को मिली है। खासकर आईसीआईसीआई बैंक 2.5 फीसदी, कोटक महिंद्रा बैंक 2 फीसदी और एक्सिस बैंक 1.68 फीसदी उछलक बंद हुए है। जबकि हिंडाल्को, वेदांता और एशियन पेंट्स में 2.75 फीसदी तक की गिरावट आई है।

एसबीआई के स्टॉक में आज दिन भर दबाव देखने को मिला है। सुबह 184.80 रुपए पर खुलने के बाद दिन में 181.65 रुपए का निचला स्तर छुआ है। दरअसल एसबीआई ने चौथी तिमाही में पिछली तिमाही से 40 फीसदी कम एडवांस टैक्स भरा है। तिमाही दर तिमाही आधार पर एसबीआई ने चौथी तिमाही में 1794 करोड़ रुपए के मुकाबले 687 करोड़ रुपए का एडवांस टैक्स दिया है।
