Today The Intraday market ended at fresh record closing high on Thursday, gaining for the sixth consecutive session ahead of European Central Bank meeting outcome later in the day. The 30-share BSE Sensex closed above 29000 for the first time, up 117.16 points at 29006.02 while the 50-share NSE Nifty rose 31.90 points to 8761.40. The broader markets ended on a flat note amid consolidation.
Globally, Intraday markets gained strength ahead of the European Central Bank meet outcome. Expectations are of 50 billion euros per month of bond buying by the ECB. European markets were mixed while Asian markets closed higher with the Hang Seng and Shanghai rising over 0.5 percent. Brent crude prices traded below USD 50 a barrel. Back home, healthcare, metals, capital goods, select technology and auto stocks supported the market.

The Intraday trading market opened higher on Thursday morning. The Sensex rose 108.24 points to 28997.10 and the Nifty climbed 19.50 points to 8749.00. About 721 shares have advanced, 263 shares declined, and 198 shares are unchanged. Suzlon Energy gained 7.5 percent and Sesa Sterlite was up 3.5 percent. The Indian rupee opened with marginal gains of 4 paise at 61.60 per dollar today versus 61.64 Wednesday.
The S&P BSE Sensex opened higher for sixth consecutive session and hit a fresh all-time high led by gains in metals, pharmaceuticals and capital goods sectors. Global markets are in an up move on expectations of quantitative easing from the European Central Bank. According to analysts, the market looks overbought at current levels and traders should be cautious as some profit booking may be seen in the near-term.
In commodities, Nymex Crude futures fell more than 1 percent , giving up almost half the gains from the previous session, this after OPEC defended its decision not to intervene to stop a collapse in oil prices since the middle of last year. And precious metal gold slipped below USD 1300 an ounce hurt by profit-taking ahead of a key ECB meeting.

Today in Intraday Market as many as 199 stocks tracked the strong momentum in the broader market today and touched their year-high levels as the BSE benchmark Sensex surged 522.66 points to hit an all-time high of 28,829.29.
Among the blue-chip stocks that touched their 52-week high mark included Axis Bank, HDFC, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Tata Motors. Others included Yes Bank, Whirlpool of India, SpiceJet, MindTree, MRF and HT Media also hit one-year peak.
Intraday Equity markets scaled a new high today. There is no one reason for this, the over market is in a bull grip.The S&P BSE Sensex rallied as much as 96 points in trade on Wednesday to hit its fresh lifetime high of 28880.80, led by gains in HDFC, HDFC Bank, TCS, L&T and Sun Pharma.
Tracking the momentum, the 50-share Nifty index also surged as much as 27 points in trade t touch its fresh record high of 8722.50, supported by gains in capital goods, banks, auto, and consumer durable and metal stocks.

Intraday Equity benchmarks surged to record highs Tuesday among growing perception that India is the best placed among emerging markets because of its improving macroeconomic fundamentals. The 30-share Sensex hit a new peak of 28829.29, before closing at 28784.67, up 522.66 points or 1.85 percent over its previous close.
The 50-share Nifty closed at 8695.60, up 144.90 points or 1.69 percent after hitting a new high of 8,707.90 intraday. The broader markets underperformed benchmarks with BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices rising 0.4 percent each.
Today in intraday Metal stocks led the rally as key benchmark indices surged to record high. The barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex, and the 50-unit CNX Nifty, both hit lifetime high after International Monetary Fund (IMF) yesterday, 19 January 2015, said India's economy will be world's fastest-growing major economy in the year through March 2017.

Today in intraday the S&P BSE Sensex rallied as much as 116 points in trade on Tuesday, led by gains in metals, technology and banks on the back of positive cues from Asian peers. According to analysts, the near-term trend is positive for the day trading market and the benchmarks are expected to breach previous highs ahead of the Budget Session.
Also in today market the 30-share index was at 28,357.76, up 95.75 points or 0.34 per cent. It touched a high of 28,375.79 and a low of 28,324.85 in trade today. The Nifty was at 8,580.95, up 30.25 points or 0.35 per cent. It touched a high of 8,587.65 and a low of 8,575.10 in trade today. Coal India, Hindalco, TCS, Axis Bank and Tata Steel are top gainers in the Sensex. Among the losers are HUL, Tata Motors, GAIL, Maruti and Bajaj Auto.
The Indian rupee opened lower by 11 paise at 61.82 per dollar against previous day's closing value of 61.71 a dollar. Global cues, meanwhile are positive with the Asian market treading mixed in early morning trade as investors await data from China for further trading cues. China's Q4 GDP was expected to grow by 7.2 percent but came in at 7.3 percent. European equities closed largely higher on Monday, as investors look ahead to Thursday's European Central Bank (ECB) meeting.
